Firm attorneys elected to CO+OP board of directors
Since 1988, CO+OP has helped churches develop best legal and administrative practices
Painter Law Firm attorneys Robert Painter and Taunya Painter were recently elected to the board of directors of CO+OP, a Houston-based nonprofit organization.
CO+OP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to best administrative practices for churches. Founded in 1988, CO+OP provides churches with information on vendors that it has researched and information on sound business, insurance and legal practices that make churches more efficient and effective.
Attorney Robert Painter said, "Taunya and I are grateful for the opportunity to serve with such a wonderful organization. This type of volunteer service is important to us. We look forward to sharing our thoughts and recommendation to help the 1200+ member churches of CO+OP all over Texas and America."
In addition to service on the CO+OP board of directors, Taunya Painter currently serves on the Houston Better Business Bureau executive board. Further, Robert Painter is an ordained deacon at Christchurch Baptist Fellowship, where he served twice as chairman, serves on the board of directors of The Crown College of the Bible in Tennessee, and has served on a board with First Bible International. Robert and Taunya Painter have also taught an adult Sunday School class at Christchurch since 2003.
