At the request of numerous Houston residents interested in attending the temporary injunction hearing, the details are below. Our clients appreciate the community support and welcome residents to attend the hearing.
o What: Temporary Injunction Hearing o When: Monday, May 3, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. o Where: 295th District Court, Harris County Civil Courthouse, 201 Caroline, 14th Floor, Houston, Texas 77002 o Why: Certain homeowners are asking the court to grant a temporary injunction against Cypress Forest Public Utility District to prevent amendments to the voter-approved agreement with the Raveneaux Country Club owner/developer regarding the acreage conveyed and land use restrictions. o Consequences: If the court grants the injunction, the water board cannot make these amendments until the issue is determined at trial.
