Attorney Taunya Painter speaks to high school students on the importance of courts 


Attorney Taunya Painter joined Probate Court No. 2 Judge Christine Butts to speak to students at Wunsche High School, in Spring, Texas. The May 1, 2012 program was sponsored by the Houston Bar Association on the theme of ‘No Courts, No Justice, No Freedom.’

Attorney Painter spoke about the role of the court system in protecting freedoms and advances to guarantee access to courts for all Americans. She said, "Our independent court system plays an essential role in maintaining our cherished freedoms. I enjoyed this opportunity to share this important information with the students of Wunsche High School."
